About the Course

Join us for the Mr. Detective and Friends course, a fun and engaging way to equip your child with essential life skills for resilience, emotional well-being, and positive decision-making. The Child Access option includes access to the children’s video content only. This is ideal if you have previously completed the full course. If you haven’t yet done the full course, we highly recommend starting there, so you, as the parent or caregiver are fully equipped with the knowledge and tools to best support your child. You’ll receive 12 months of access to the program, allowing you to revisit the content whenever needed.

Meet the Creator

Hi, I'm Maddy – the creator of Mr. Detective and Friends. I’ve worked in the human services sector for over 13 years, including 7 years in private practice as a social worker. Mr Detective and Friends was created out of a need to teach children about the fight, flight, and freeze response in a way that made sense to them and to show them the power of self-talk as a regulation tool. These concepts can be complex, but I saw how valuable they were in helping children understand their bodies and emotions. That’s why I created Mr Detective and Friends—to make emotional education engaging, simple, and effective. The results with children have been incredible, and I knew it was something worth sharing. Join me on this journey to empower both children and adults with vital emotional intelligence skills. Together, let’s build a calmer, more connected community.
